My first 2014 Texas Bluebonnet Nominee read is. . .

I have just finished reading an amazing book! It is entitled Counting by 7's by Holly Goldberg Slogan. I expected it to be a good youth novel (I teach Fifth Grade); however, I was not expecting how invested I would become reading it. The character's story, Willow Chance, is believably one of the best I have read in a long while. I cried, laughed, cried, and rejoiced many times over.
